Our summer is not complete without a nice bathing suit to hang around in. Since the weather in Holland has been dreary however, we can only dream about wearing the next items we’ve picked out. Nevertheless, if we were to live on Hawaii and were to have all the money in the world these would be our #1 picks. Enjoy and let us know where you got your bikini for this summer!
Esprit: Flower Dessin Halter-Bandeau Top €29,99/Midi-Bottom €19,99 (available on http://www.esprit.com)
With this print it doesn’t really matter what kind of weather it is. Put it on and instant vacation feeling! I really love what Esprit has done with their swimwear: they created a couple of bold prints and in each of these prints make a variety of tops and bottoms. Each are sold individually so that you’ll really find a bikini that fits your body and your style. Personally I really like this haltertop bandeau hybrid variant but the top also comes in a regular halter and normal bra version. Options for the bottom is a larger bottom or a short. Whatever your preference, you’ll be noticed!
O’Neill Crochet & YD Bandeau Bikini €59,99 & Pineapple Triangle Bikini €49,99 (available at http://www.oneill.com)
I really like this for bikini for its simplicity. The days lounging around the pool or on the beach should not be complicated. A simple solid color, yet very summery, is easy to pair with cute flipflops or a fun white shine through tank. As you can see I personally prefer a bandeau model as I think it fits my body type but the O’Neill also sells tons of “regular” triangle bikini’s with fun prints. Although a lot less simple than the pink bandeau, this would still be simple be simple to wear as it is straight forward model. I especially like the cutouts in the bottom! You should simply buy it because it has pineapples. Enough said.
Victoria’s Secret: Reversible Lace-Up Halter $35.00 / Reversible Side-Tie Cheeky Bottom: $25.00 (both on SALE now at http://www.victoriassecret.com)
This to me screams SUMMER: a mint green top combined with a peachy orange bottom, both topped off with tassels. Personally, I am a fan of the ‘mix and match’ trend and love that the colors of the top and bottom are not the same. However, if you prefer your bikini in one and the same print this is also possible as both top and bottom are wearable on both sides. So you can choose to have a full-on mint green bikini or a full-on peachy orange bikini, or a mix as seen in the picture of the gorgeous Candice Swanepoel (#wcw).
Gather all ye small breasted and flat booty women. This cute and colorful and flowery design paired with ruffles will do wonders for your figure. It gives the illusion of curves in all the right places. I’m… I’m in love.
Jack Wills Cut Out Back Swimsuit €54,11 (found at http://www.asos.com)
In this swimwear article I also wanted to include a sporty but cute swimsuit for those days you actually would like to go for some laps in the pool. This is so wearable and looks like it will still be covering you up after you’ve dived in. There is nothing as embarrassing as your boobies hanging out after a nice jump.
